I feel like I've been a little MIA...but that was just because it was the weekend.
Anyway, thanks for the good vibes and such for Nathan's performance Friday night, the show was incredible. And I got to actually participate (instead of selling merch). Like a 16 year old who has posters of rock stars on her wall I geeked out in the front row, swooning for the lead singer...who happens to be my husband (so it's allowed).
Also, Dillan's been boring. C'mon, I gave you this blog dog, do something!!!!
The problem with having a blog about a greyhound...
So, I leave you with this.

Big Weekend
Tonight is a big night for the hubs.
His band is playing a sold out show at a local venue. They are also debuting a new singer, whom I'm super excited to see belt it out live. Go Alaina!
And no pressure, but there's a possibility of some influential label people being there. Wouldn't mind some love and prayers sent their way!

Also, after that I'm planning on catching up on a lot of tidying, studying, and puppy time so that I don't get any more of these sad puppy eyes...

Things Dogs Should Do.
Wouldn't it be so helpful if dogs could do awesome things.
Example: I forgot to take salmon out of the freezer and place it in the refrigerator to defrost for dinner. What I need is for Dillan to open said freezer, remove salmon and place it in the refrigerator.
I think this is reasonable. We just need walkie talkies with a 5 mile range.

New things are coming!
Friends! I'm really excited about revamping the blog here soon. And possibly adding a new blog that focuses on some other things, such as somewhat interior design, graphics, and such and inspiration. But that's a long term goal.
Here's a preview for the new header. You might have noticed that I changed the theme a little on the blog and got rid of that green gradient on the border. I'm excited. It's been in my head for days, so finally I just did a 5 second sketch. But the goal is something sketchy and fluid. I think it'll be great if I can get it visualized!
Yeah!
What do you want to revamp?

Snooded
I've been knitting scarves for over a year.
Back and forth and back and forth.
And then it dawned on me, "I could make other things if I had some circular needles!"
So I went out and got myself a couple of circular needles. To practice (before I attempt a hat) I decided to make my doggie a snood. Inspired by this precious photo I found on pinterest:
Yes, that is how I thought it would turn out, the reality is it turned out like this:
Too wide at the bottom, and too short. But I realized it was too wide very early on, and I really just wanted to be finished with the project. It was good practice, and he does look very dapper...
Well, I might try again, or try to make myself one.
Have you made your dogs anything recently? Were they disastrous as well?
