Over Saturation?

I've been thinking a lot lately about starting another blog. I am a designer by education and trade and pretty much spend my time thinking about it. Graphics, interiors, architecture, art, I can't stop.

But the internet is over saturated with design blogs. It's pretty much all that I follow.

And would I be introducing anything new?

Should I care if it's new or not and do it anyway?

Would it be too much to keep track of?

Dillan just doesn't give me the same type of inspiration as "Architectural Record".

I'm also beginning to do a bit of freelance work on blog/logo design. Perhaps this could eventually become a side occupation? What better way than to blog about it?

I'd love to hear some feedback? What do you guys think?

  1. Go for it! Everyone's taste is unique, so if you are sharing what interests you and what you are passionate about, then that will make your blog unique among all those other design blogs.

Do you use Pinterest? It's a great way to keep track of things that inspire you without requiring as much work as a blog. But if you were hoping to start a blog design business then I would say a blog is definitely a great way to build that.
